Toppings and Garnish

- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Serving Suggestions
- Cooked white rice or noodles (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Oven and Chicken: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil, tossing well to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
- Arrange Chicken in Baking Dish: Transfer the seasoned chicken pieces into a lightly greased 8×8 inch baking dish, spreading them out in a single layer for even cooking.
- Prepare Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth to create the creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce.
- Coat Chicken with Sauce: Pour half of the Bang Bang sauce over the chicken in the baking dish and gently toss to coat all pieces evenly with the sauce.
- Bake the Chicken: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender throughout.
- Add Cheese and Continue Baking: Remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the cooked chicken. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Finish with Sauce and Garnish: Remove the chicken bake from the oven. Drizzle the remaining Bang Bang sauce over the top and garnish with the chopped green onions for freshness and extra flavor.
- Serve: Serve the Bang Bang Chicken Bake hot, optionally over cooked white rice or noodles to complete the meal.
Notes
- Substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter, tangier sauce.
- You can use shrimp or tofu instead of chicken for different protein options.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
