Description

Delight in these rich and flavorful Cappuccino Chocolate Cookies, combining the smooth taste of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc with dark chocolate bites. Perfectly soft with a hint of coffee, these cookies offer a decadent treat that’s easy to prepare and bake.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 300 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 250 g brown sugar

Wet Ingredients

  • 150 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons warm water

Coffee & Chocolate

  • 4 sticks of NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc
  • 200 g NESTLÉ DESSERT Dark Chocolate (150 g melted, 50 g chopped as chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the cookies from sticking and to ensure even baking.
  2. Prepare Coffee Mixture: Dissolve the 4 NESCAFÉ Cappuccino Choco Blanc sticks in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Set this aromatic coffee mixture aside for later use in the dough.
  3. Melt Chocolate: Place 150 g of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat at 500W for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir until the chocolate is completely smooth. Reserve the remaining 50 g to chop into chips for folding into the dough.
  4. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and beat well to combine. Then pour in the dissolved cappuccino mixture along with the melted chocolate, stirring thoroughly to achieve a uniform, rich batter.
  5. Add Dry Ingredients: Sift together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until a dough forms. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate chips carefully to distribute them evenly throughout the dough.
  6. Shape Cookies: Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading. Flatten each dough ball gently with your hand to the desired thickness.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for 10-14 minutes, depending on their size. Bake until the edges are set and slightly firm but the centers remain soft.
  8. Cool: Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes to firm up. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use additional NESCAFÉ Cappuccino sticks or a shot of espresso.
  • Ensure the butter is softened at room temperature for easier creaming with sugar.
  • Do not overbake to keep the cookies soft inside.
  • You can substitute dark chocolate with semi-sweet if preferred.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness up to 5 days.
