- Ice, plenty to fill glass (crushed ice preferred for smoother texture)
Instructions
- Brew espresso: Brew two shots of espresso using your espresso machine or a strong coffee maker. The hot espresso forms the rich coffee base for your iced latte.
- Mix flavorings: Add ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom and 1 teaspoon honey to the hot espresso. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and uniform, ensuring the honey dissolves completely and the cardamom is well incorporated.
- Prepare glass with ice: Fill a tall glass with plenty of crushed ice. Crushed ice chills the drink quickly and provides a smoother texture.
- Combine espresso and ice: Pour the spiced espresso mixture over the ice, balancing the amount to chill the drink without diluting it excessively.
- Add milk and stir: Pour milk of your choice into the glass to your desired creaminess. Stir gently to blend all ingredients thoroughly.
