Description

These Classic Cheeseburger Sliders are a perfect crowd-pleaser, featuring juicy seasoned beef patties topped with melted cheddar cheese on soft slider buns. Easy to prepare and bake, they make an ideal appetizer or party snack that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Sliders

  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved

Optional Toppings

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Optional for Serving

  • Melted butter (for brushing buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready when the sliders are assembled and ready to bake.
  2. Prepare the Beef Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Shape Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into small, round patties that match the size of the slider buns.
  4. Cook the Patties: Using a skillet over medium-high heat or a grill pan, cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through but still juicy.
  5. Assemble the Sliders: Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a slider bun. Top each with half a slice of cheddar cheese, then place the top half of the bun over the cheese.
  6. Optional Butter Brush: For extra flavor and a golden finish, brush the tops of the buns lightly with melted butter.
  7. Bake the Sliders: Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted nicely and the buns are slightly toasted.
  8. Serve: Remove sliders from the oven. Add any optional toppings such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, or mustard as desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Using ground beef with an 80/20 fat ratio ensures juicy and flavorful patties.
  • Don’t overmix the beef mixture to keep patties tender.
  • Cooking the patties on the stovetop before baking helps seal in juices.
  • Slider buns can be lightly toasted in the oven for extra texture.
  • Customize toppings to suit your taste preferences.
