Ready in just 30 minutes, this hearty and flavorful meal is sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale

Pasta & Vegetables

  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Protein

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

Sauce & Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta and Broccoli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. In the last 2–3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the same pot. Once done, drain the pasta and broccoli and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 6–8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Combine and Toss: Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Serve: Serve the creamy chicken broccoli Alfredo warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
