Description

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a delicious, bite-sized twist on the classic cheeseburger. Ground beef seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and onion powders is combined with melted cheddar cheese, all enveloped in soft biscuit dough. Brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan, these savory bites are baked to golden perfection and garnished with fresh parsley, making them perfect for a party appetizer or a fun family snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheeseburger Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

Dough & Topping

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits) or homemade dough
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for baking the cheeseburger bombs.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and no longer pink, making sure to drain any excess grease to keep the bites from becoming too greasy.
  3. Season Beef Mixture: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper into the cooked beef mixture. Allow the mixture to cool slightly so it’s easier to handle when assembling.
  4. Prepare Dough: Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a circle large enough to hold the beef and cheese filling.
  5. Assemble Bombs: Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture and some shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal the bombs closed. Place them seam-side down on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic. Brush this garlic butter mixture evenly over the tops of each cheeseburger bomb for added flavor and color.
  7. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each bomb to give them a savory, cheesy crust.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Garnish and Serve: Remove the bombs from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm for the best taste.

Notes

  • You can substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella, pepper jack, or your preferred cheese for a different flavor profile.
  • If you don’t have refrigerated biscuit dough, homemade dough or crescent roll dough works equally well.
  • For extra garlic flavor, add minced garlic into the beef mixture while cooking.
  • These bombs can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated; bake just before serving.
  • Serve with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauces for added enjoyment.
