Ingredients
Scale
Sausage Layer
- 1 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
Sauce
- 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Pasta and Cheese
- 1 package (20 oz) cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled Italian sausage until it is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat and set the sausage aside for layering.
- Mix the Alfredo Sauce: In a large bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread a thin layer of the Alfredo sauce mixture on the bottom. Arrange a single layer of ravioli over the sauce, then sprinkle half the cooked sausage evenly over the ravioli. Top with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layering once more with sauce, ravioli, sausage, and cheeses. Finish with any remaining Alfredo sauce and cheese on top.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes after baking. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving warm. Enjoy your hearty and creamy Sausage Alfredo Ravioli Lasagna!
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen ravioli; no need to boil beforehand as it cooks during baking.
- For a spicier version, use spicy Italian sausage or add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Letting the lasagna rest after baking helps it set and makes serving easier.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- If using frozen ravioli, add a few extra minutes to the baking time.
