Description

Strawberry Lasagna is a delightful no-bake dessert featuring layers of a buttery graham cracker crust, whipped cream and cream cheese filling, and fresh strawberries, optionally enhanced with strawberry jam and garnished with mint. Perfect for a refreshing treat that requires minimal effort and no baking.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 package (9 oz) graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Layers and Garnish

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jam (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Combine crushed graham crackers, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust. Chill in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to maintain the light texture.
  3. Assemble the lasagna: Spread half of the cream cheese filling evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust. Layer half of the chopped strawberries on top, then optionally drizzle half of the strawberry jam over the berries for added sweetness and moisture.
  4. Repeat layers: Add the remaining cream cheese mixture over the strawberry layer, smoothing it out evenly. Then add the remaining chopped strawberries, and drizzle the rest of the strawberry jam if using.
  5. Chill and serve: Cover the baking dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld. Before serving, optionally garnish with chopped fresh mint leaves. Cut into slices and serve chilled for a refreshing dessert.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the dessert overnight to ensure it is firm and the flavors have blended well.
  • Optional strawberry jam adds extra sweetness and juiciness but can be omitted for a fresher fruit taste.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for optimal flavor and texture.
  • This recipe is gluten-free if using gluten-free graham crackers.
  • Keep covered in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days for freshness.
