Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 8 oz cooked pasta (rigatoni or bowtie work best)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: marinara or ranch for dipping
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve crispiness.
- Toss with seasoning: In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta with olive oil, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat each piece evenly.
- Preheat air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to heat up before cooking for best results.
- Air fry pasta: Place pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping. Repeat in batches if necessary.
- Cool and serve: Let the pasta chips cool slightly to firm up. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara or ranch.
Notes
- For an extra kick, sprinkle chili flakes or use flavored Parmesan cheese.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even crispiness.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
